I literally was dealing with this exact same thing today. It’s not worth it, girl. Those type of people aren’t your real friends.
Yeah, I know, man, I’m just done. Like you said, they’re not my real friend, so I’m cutting them off.. I’m sorry you had to go through it too, it’s bullshit x.
So sick of this friend who just thinks I’m just around to be their emotional vomit bucket, it’s like, I love to help them feel better and try to be there as much as I can, but, if I need help they act like I didn’t say anything or change the subject back to them. But, they still think it’s okay to come running to me when they have a problem, no, I’m done. I have my own problems, if you’re not willing to be there to help me when all I’ve done is try to help you so much, then no, don’t look to me anymore.
This might sound totally terrible and selfish, but, this has happened ALL of my life just because I don’t come off as emotionally needy as others do doesn’t make my problems any less real or any less in need of help.
I hate how people just assume that because I don’t have emotional outburst in the form in which they’re used to makes my feelings less severe or important. Friendship is a two-way-motherfuckin-street, I’m so sick of being taken advantage of.
I am willing to go to the moon and back for my friends, because, I love them. I don’t expect anything in return, but, when I feel like I am being used is when I start to feel like this.. I am not a doormat and wanting a friend to listen to you as much as you do them is not a selfish thing at all.
Decided to get all femme’d up to go out today. Pink/purple eye makeup and nails. A skirt and crop top. Hair done nicely. Step outside for two seconds, almost freeze to death.
Retreats inside and puts on jeans, sweater and denim vest. Eye make up and nails remain as is. It’s such an unusual combo of femme and masculine.
I’m like femme punk right now and I kinda like it.
.. My brother surprised me by hitting me and I squealed very high pitched.. His girlfriend told me “that’s the girliest I’ve ever heard out of you..” Like what are you tryna say tho… Hahaha >
